About my experience with om 5 beta 2, it has changed the way i was browsing. Previously i was using om 4.2 and was little skeptic to use this beta 2 after dumping the beta 1. But it has moved me. I like most about it is its multi tab browsing. I use it very often. Its interface is becoming very friendly though the screen looks clearer in om 4.2 then 5 beta 2. But still not the best one. About download manager, its not of start/pause type. May be what i interprete is if the download manager is of start/pause type, it should allow me to download more than 3 mb file at a time. What i mean is my network provider has imposed this restriction that you cannot download more than 3 mb file at a time, otherwise unlimited browsing and downloading. But i know how to hack that. I download more than 3 mb file with the use of ucweb's download manager which is also start/pause type. But this download manager is not working that way. Otherwise a complete package for me. There are still minor bugs but i guess they will be gone in final version.
Oh i have typed a lot from my mobile using om 5 beta 2.

sleek and smooth. user-friendly. eye-candy. hanep ang animations. kaso 128x160 ang screen ko. pero ok na rin. ang pinagtatak'han ko...ba't gumagana siya sa k310i ko? wala akong mmc pero smooth ang browsing ko. 2x faster than om4.2. di naman masyado makain sa ram. 2 thumbs up for om5b2. isama ko na mga daliri sa paa...that makes 4 thumbs up. haha.

ang isa pa sa kagandahan nito kahit beta pa lang eh nakakapagdownload ng sabay2x khit 15 pa ang iDL ng parehong time at mga MB ang laki ng mga files ng sabay2x...

Wow,,I THINK ADVANTAGES OF OM5.2 STIL LEADING in this thread...But its more advantageous if it is being posted in SANTA AQUA's thread bec.its about om...hehehehe...pero i wil share also my experience using om5.2...MABILIS din xa mas browse kaya ang sayang gamitin,
,copy/paste,,dl manager,THEN UNG THE BEST IS I TRIED to download 52.4MB file o diba...galing!...c absolute zero ata ung ngsbi n possible xa until 60MB pero hndi ko p natry...
Ang hndi ko lng guz2 e matakaw s ram,..sana ung finaly ni2 ay busog n para hndi n maxado maraming raw ang knakain...hahaha...Tsaka unique ung screen nya...un lng po..gandang gabi to all.

Let me share my views, hehehe, gusto ko tong om 5.2 kasi pwede mag-download ng large files and i'm fond of downloading lots of large files, kaso nga lang, for now gamit ko lang ang 4.2 ksai nasira ang mem card ko, i have to buy a new one, btw, maganda talaga siya sa tatskrin fone..hekhek..

Other than flash, om should also enable scripts/javascripts, IMO,
To gain access with files on file storage sites (ex. Is m.u. and r.s.puro countdown eh) |

this is my wishlist for the om 5 final:
A. Show the file size in the loading bar
B. Flash player support
C. PC style web browsing like bolt
D. Improve download manager enable to view the download speed and the total remaining time of downloading like ucweb
E. Less heap memory consumpti0n(ram)
F. Ability to jump from top to bott0n (in om 4.2,press #3)
G. Clear session
H. Ability to view page info
I. A shortcut key to view url of a page
J. Ability to change the 24 hr clock
K. Skins like om 4.2
L. Built in file manager like ucweb
M. Built in minimize/run in the background option.

Guize tip lang kung like nio tanggalin ung recommended to a friend sa start page just edit sa Setting > advanced > Start page link > off Kylangan naka off para mtnggal na yung rcmmndd to a frnd s start page and datz all AYT!!

masyado malakas kumain nan java heap memory, walang kwenta an multi tab nya, sana may list option sa enter address kapag nakafullscreen edit at lagyan din sana na clear option para minsanan an pagclear text. |
