I charged my phone yesterday and it's now flat.

I got 17hours out of it. I sent 1 message and made 1 30seconds phone call. Apart from that the phone has been sitting with its screen off.

Not impressed. Bluetooth off, wifi off, 3g off. If I was using the phone alot, I'd probably get 12 hours or less out of it.

I've had enough and going back to the shop I bought it from to get a different phone.

after the new firmware update I think the battery performance has improved. however, noticed if you are using handsfree then it will eat up much of your battery very quickly. so probably worth avoiding the use of handsfree.

the phone now lasts decent 48 hours (though I accept is not enough compared to SE's claim of 350 hours) with couple of phone calls, 30-45 mins of browsing.

@Ericman - I thought the packet data setting is for internet browsing. but when changed, the top left signal icon changed to a big H in stead of broken connectivity icon before. let me check and I will report back whether I am gaining any time.
