I just seen a photo in The Mail on Sunday paper with a man on a beach in Dorset actually lifted up 3 feet into the air by the strong winds. The photo is fantastic. Dont have a link

You carry 3 umbrellas? I know it gets wet in the UK but that's pretty extreme...

Yeah, Auckland has very unpredictable weather, we call it four-seasons-in-one-day. There's even a song about it.
Those waves are MASSIVE. We don't get those!

Ah Crowded House i love them I have their hits album. They are very good song writers. Them waves in places like Cornwall come in from the atlantic i would love to see that. Highest waves i seen were west coast of Ireland in Co. Clare about 30 feet but we were on massive cliffs. Incredible to watch. I think perhaps we should have a photo thread on here for most spectacutlar photos with pics like that which people on here can take with their phones Be cool.

It's been raining solidly for about 10 hours here. I think I might have Trench Foot.

Trench foot It always rains around Liverpool or Manchester though i dont mind the rain but ten hours is a long time. Its gone windy again here in Birmingham its howling through the house.
