nice comparasion......anyway the C905 is still the best overall cameraphone on the market
For those who believe no explanation is necessary, For those who don't none will suffice

Some people prefer touchscreens, some don't.

And some prefer smartphones with good video recording and good photo quality.

Will Idou have VGA recording or will it still be QVGA? (If it's still QVGA then they have to scale up the video on playback to avoid having it look like a tiny thumbnail on that 640x360 display.)

I have owned a C905 and i also now have a Renoir and IMO the Renoir wins hands down on camera options. There's soo much more to mess with on the Renoir. The only let down is the weak xenon flash.
Other than that i do prefer my Renoir and even my T700 (for quick snaps) over the C905. I tend to stear clear of Samsungs so can't compare them.

I do sometimes but am happiest with the most stupid phone in the world (i-mobile 902).

. . .

I wonder if the result of this would've been the same if they also included night shots similar to those in ePrice's INNOV8 vs Sharp WX-T930 test.

1. what happened to EXIF in all pictures?

I was thinking the same, no exif data...edited pics?
In the flash test they give to Renoir 2 and Samsung 4, here a comparison between Renoir and i8510 in total darkness from another forum:

In landscape C905 rated 4 and Renoir 3? Very hilarious, look at whatever landscape of C905 and Renoir on esato photo section and all will be more clear.
Renoir has 3 in features and macro? Look my last shots and judge yourself.
And strangely in gsmarena shootout SE was the last..

Anyone owning Buffy DVDs and posters should not be taken seriously. Unless these images were taken in the reviewers sisters bedroom I will not take the test seriously.

I prefer the Renoirs pic quality, there alot better processed than the C905's & i8510 , the C905's look awful in full size, there smeary and have compressed in noise, The Renoirs are sharper and less noisey.

Hey! Quit flame baiting plankis. Now as we speak he's prepaing a juicy reply, full of venom with the worst example shots he can find.

@number1: Are you sure INNOV8 is even worse than Renoir? Before buying myself a C905, I also considered INNOV8 but the LED was a real LED-down.

@AbuBasim: You're right, I made a real mistake there...

The INNOV8 daylight pics are ok, but indoor and low-light arent , despite it's led-flash i still prefer the Renoir, wouldn't buy any of them for there cams though i'd never use a full res 8mp pic and the 5mp cam phones take sharper but noiser daylight pics which i prefer, my digicam only has 5mp which is fine for me i'd never use anymore.

anyway...C905 wipe the floor with Renoir and innov8 in Macro. (and thats NOT just this pictures)...most all Cybershot flagships i tried (k800, c902 and c905) have ridiculous accurate focus
