l've had mine for 4 days now. I love the form factor and balance of functions. Since then, i've always wanted a phone w\\ PIM functionality. P800 is that + wireless internet & mail.

The phone is great. but the only problem I have is the battery life. I don't know about you guys but for me the battery would last about 28-35 hours with normal usage. But my bluetooth is on all the time. Would that be a problem with the battery life? If yes, should it drain that much battery?

hello again. I've been reading your replies for a couple of days now and most of you concentrated on battery life and that PDAs suck in battery life. But guys you are talking about old PDA technologies, I meant to get PDAs that are new now like the Dell Axim X5 or the ViewSonic V35. PDAs like these two have great batteries (furthermore the Dell have a removable battery 1440mAh standard and an optional 3440mAh battery). I think PDAs like these can hold up to the P800 battery life, and they have more robust PDA functionality than the P800, and they only cost 300$. So can I have some more opinions and Ideas. |

i think you should wait for a while due to the fact that other phone manufacturers will come up with something even better than the p800. when that happens the p800's price will surely decrease or you should just get one of the two devices you mentioned. |

If you don't mind carrying around two device, with one of them being bigger than the P800 you probably should get a PDA and stay with your T68i. Both PalmOS and PocketPC currently have a lot more apps than P800.

Lets get this straight, people who HAV`NT got a p800 aren`t sure about it, & people who HAVE got it say it`s the best thing in multi media devices, it all came to a head for me today when i downloaded the latest app "Mobipocket Reader" ebook reader, you choose the background colour, font style, font size, font colour, then either use the jog to run through the pages or tap the screen to turn pages OR set the auto scroll to scroll at your chosen speed, which you adjust faster or slower with the jog, forget the size, forget other phones, get the money & buy this phone now & experience ALOT MORE than that feeling you got when first you got your T68. everyone who tries my phone here in the UK says WHERE CAN I BUY ONE ???? |
