By pressing #1 or #3 when reading sms you get the same thing as * and #.

The scrolling tips do not seem to work on my t39, but maybe I have misunderstood how to do it. There is howerver a menu shortcut that is useful:
Pressing either the left or right arrow button displays the menu tabs. Pressing one of the keys 1-7 will go to the corresponding submenu, for example, left 5 will open the tools menu, or somewhat more advanced:
left 5 3 left yes will turn on the IR port for 10 minutes.

That is a really good tip (even if it has been mentioned b4, I've only just seen this one so repetition is never a bad thing)
Surely though, the best way to solve all these issues is for SE to actually sort out the T9 and the scrolling speed!
Y should we have to bypass their sloppyness in the first place?! |

go to calls menu then call costs and the last option is Clr SMS counter and there you have it (press joystick,and then the numbers 3,3,9 seperatly)

I see. Well, I was trying it reading a message using the WAP browser. In many ways that is similrar to reading SMSes, at least I thought so, but apparently, there were different programmers doing those parts of the software... |
