I think there is a problem common with cybershot camphones.
Even with modded camdriver, I observed somewhat lack of contrast in my outdoor photos.

This is not such a big problem, my Nikon camera do the same. But the pictures comes with chromatic aberration, full of noise even in day light and purple fringing, and e.t.c.. The details in the images is also low, try to take a full crop of a image taken with the camera and see the rezult, it's awful.

Is it due to camdrive or its phone's limitation?
Frankly speaking, after seeing the pics posts in above link thread for K850i, i started to feel more proud being owner of it. AND I AM.

I don't think that is the phone limitation at least, it CAN take better pictures with less noise and less chromatic aberration.
But, I got to admit it, I can't wait to sell this phone and get Idou.

Idou is almost perfect for me, the only thing I don't like is its a full touchscreen phone. I don't like touchscreens.
