The R8 is the major reason why they are actually bringing this out. You're also right about the current slowdown in the world economy. They already shelved the mighty CS, would be a shame if they would camcel this one. This could sell IMO.



SURELY the only the reason any of you would want to see this made is so you can look at it? I doubt very much any of you here could afford to buy one, like most people couldn't, ESPECIALLY in the current financial climate. The sheer cost of development, building and researching a car like that would leave a huge dent in BMW's bank balance, meaning their more 'affordable' cars (I use the term loosely...) would also take a hit.
