well...it seems the memory indicator is at fault, but since these memory things are all controlled by the firmware, get an upgrade and then try it, as far as i am concern my T300 did not give me such trouble

@veon: with my clie i don't sync these files but i copy them directly to my hard drive. With usb and correct sw you can see your memory card as ext. Hard drive. Anyway u can rename your files with \"propities\" option in mcfile.

Ok, thanks for the tip man. Any recommended freeware to assess the memory card via the sync cradle? Or is a card reader a must it this situation? Cheers!

actually living 5 km apart from the SE centre, but without any traffic congestion takes less than 10 mins to get there
yeap, no battery status
but the predefined pics are allowed to be deleted by the phone unlike the R1D, whether it releases more memory or not, not sure, didn't try it out
i think this upgrade is only for those who wans louder sms tones, not to say loud, but the tone has a higher pitch than the normal ones

What software do you use to update the mobile?
How can I update my software?
where can I find the software (URL)? |

u need a bundle of things to upgrade it, and most important of all, u will need a license to download the firmware which in our part of the world is only applicable for SE authourised dealers
So it is illegal to do so by urself and almost impossible to download the firmware urself unless u purchase it like some other members are doing
recommend to just go to the nearest service centre and get it upgrade for FREE

Really? This has been one the greatest complaints about T68i/T300: the SMS tone. In every new firmware it has been speculated would change it...
Sure it is?

Yes, it sounds different, it might not be louder, but it's a definite higher pitch, better than the old version |
