O2 - should I stay or should I go? |

Because compared to the last time i was with them when things were not so good i have seen improvements. Customer services on pre pay used to be waiting on the phone for over an hour now i notice i get through straight away. Internet is much faster and more reliable than O2 from what i have experienced. I have a reliable network now something i never got in the end with O2 im sorry to say. Also even in good coverage O2 call quality is dreadful forever being asked repeat myself whatever phone i used. Always distorted. Anyway i gotta stop going on about O2 before i fall asleep or explode. All i can say is i care nothing for Orange being slightly more expensive all i want is a network that works. I dont buy Orange phones i buy from Carphonewarehouse so i avoid branding. Just cos a network has more customers luring them in with deals does not mean their network is any good. ITS SHITE. Goodbye im sick of talking about it cos when i do everyone has a go.

So much to take in there!
Really not sure what to do now - so are O2 upgrading their network? I haven't rung them yet actually, think I might try that tomorrow if I've time, see if there is anything they can do or if there is a problem, though this has been happening on and off for a while now.
Am also really tempted by that Google Android phone on T-Mob, but shouldn't let that cloud my judgement or make a decision purely on that!

Yeah if you can test a couple of networks sim cards where ya live then look at deals. I guess every network is upgrading their infrastructure all the time though O2's network is a bit behind on 3G coverage though i guess its improving all the time. But i see and hear people complaining alot of their poor 3G coverage. Travelling around today even out of Bath city Orange 3G was solid everywhere. Though thats of no use to you. Ring up O2 report your concerns see what happens and see if you can even get a better deal outta them. They might do a network test over the phone with you to see if there is a problem in your area. They were going to do this with me but i was busy at work. Dont make hasty decisions jumping to T Mobile look into things carefully cos you can end up regretting your move. In my case however im happy i moved. Good luck.

Yeah yeah O2 lead the market have the most customers blah blah blah. Sometime down the line it will all go tits up like the way Orange did. Now i see Orange getting better like they once were years ago. Thats my experience now. I care nothing for The O2 in London or other offers i just want a reliable service provider. And im sorry to say O2 are biting off more than they can chew. Its not all rosy.
Orange went tits up because it got bought by France Telecom. Vodafone went tits up because its too expensive and cust service is a joke. T mobile seems to be doing ok, but has to rely on a joint mast sharing agreement with 3 in order to stay in the market for good 3g coverage. 3 was going to go tits up but it ended up sharing masts with t mobile. How is Orange getting better?? Apart from copy cat campaigns that they copied from O2 how are they getting better?
I disagree that Vodafone are expensive,
infact they have some good offers currentley, plus ok we know 191 CS is a waste of space however if you want to seek good help via them then you use there eForum.

Sammy_Boy they are always upgrading the network. My personal experience of the Gphone is that its too slow, the user interface compared to the touch screen king phone aka the iphone is rubbish lol. But thats my opinion. Have you ever considered an Iphone before?? |

Just to add, not all O2 employees are biased towards the iphone. I for one, can't stand it
