Well I don't think there will be new firmwares for the K850... Not sure though.

I don't think it has been discontinued, there was no official confirmation that it had been. (I don't think so anyway) Just a rumour create by the haters of the phone

Here is a little comic I create a while back to show my gratitude to the K' Series (There are other K phones in it which were not cyber-shots but I added them in anyway because they were a massive landmark for cameras in phones, enjoy

Well if it has been I would guess it would be down to the fact that it is old now, the c902 and c905 replaced it, and not to how the phone functions, it would have been discontinued straight away in that case
