I think it's so strange we do not have a front camera, or a rear LCD. Totally mad!

Please tell me, what is the 'light sensor' actually for?

It monitors the external lighting conditions and adjusts the screen brightness accordingly.

e.g. It brightens the screen in strong sunlight to make it easier to read and dims it in darkness to save battery power.

You can test it yourself by covering it with your thumb.

0.0001% of the buyers make use of that functionality. That's why they skipped it.

mizzle,

then maybe they shouldve get rid of the videocalling entirely rather than giving us people who looks for this feature a hard time using it...and maybe lower its price since there's not much feature as compared to innov8...im just saying...is the xenon flash all there is to look forward to in the C905? =( and i am sooooo looking forward to this phone for a long time, now....argh...

At the end of time this is the sad and true fact:

They don't do it because if companies such as this were to produce the phone with 'everything' then that would be it.

It's a sad reality that the products we are sold are designed with obsolescence in mind. Otherwise you would not look to next one for 'advancement'.

I've always thought about it like this. Football games.
Years ago Fifa & EA would bring out a football game each year. The next years game would feature some elements of the previous years game but also was missing some of the best elements of it. Year after year they would release a new game with some kind of advancement but removing parts of it we as players liked. It was about 1998-2000 that EA could have produced the ultimate football game. But clearly the team colours/player names were not just the only thing stopping them. Obviously now with the 360, wii and ps3 even more advancements have been made with the games engines but still I'd hazard to bet that the best parts of other games previous are missed out and forgotten, otherwise there would be no Fifa 2009.
