Measly N79? LOL they have exactly the same specs, except that i7110 has a 2.6inch AMOLED screen like the N85, measly? Nah.

Same as with the N85. N79+N81 rip off=N85
N79=N82-graphcs acc+fm transmitter-xenon
Advantages of i7110
# Camera wide dynamic range, anti-shake, geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection
# VGA video recording at 30 fps and two slow motion video recording modes
# DivX and XviD playback out of the box
# Optical trackpad navigation

The point is not about anyone being pro to a certain brand or no longer pro of that brand, it's just clear that reviews are ALWAYS subjective to the reviewer but Eldar's reviews, most of the time, get too personal. Especially his recent non-Nokia ones, which of course leads to some people (including me) that now it's Nokia's turn to by praised by His Russian Mobile Knowledge Majesty. Who knows how long will it last. |

WOW, things that can be added via a FW update if NOKIA Felt it necessary except for the track navigation. Hmmm: anti-shake, and geo-tagging the NOKIAs have this, even old N95-1 has these, recieved via FW update, the others will come in time im sure.
N85 has the same display as i7110.
N79 is now the smallest Nseries, and only weighing 97g, its a fashion phone bud, not a camera phone, thats why N82 is still the Cam Flagship.
But anyway i do find it strange that Sam appears dimmer, maybe its because the N79 screen is smaller and is a regular TFT, there for it makes the i7110 look brighter. I dont think he's being biased though.

@mweb... thanks.
it jus irratates me ppl going on and on and on about this.... then it goes quiet for a bit until someone reads somethin they dont like and then another thread gets started along the same lines!
If u dont like his reviews DONT READ them...
Plus if u r going to flame someone based on reviews why not email the reviewer direct?
People like different things... i like my omnia at the mo but i know a lot of ppl dont like it! A lot of ppl like SE phones i know a lot of ppl who dont... thats life, not everyone is going to like wot u like and hate what u hate so learn to cope with that and life will be much more fun for you... |

Because there's overall less light in the i7110 and N79 picture compared to the i7110 and N85 one, the i7110 will appear apparently brighter.
Stars appear to be brighter next to the moon than next to the sun, but their *real* brightness remains the same. Get it? |

OMG, What a stupid conclusion is this.Made me laugh. Actually, i havent compared the brightness "at night" between the sun and the stars, so cant really say.
I agree, as the camera had more light to play with in the case of the i7110 it looked way brighter. But, if you are to provide comparison pics, pertaining to the display, why do so when we can clearly see the i7110 pics to better than the N85.

And the usual S@D-dudes asking the same old questions, bias ?, talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

The man was always writing favourably about SE not so long ago. The facts are that SE dropped the ball and Nokia ran with it, simple as that. I agree that he tends to lose it now and then but overall his reviews are fair.
He gets harsh where SE is concerned because they are screwing up. I prefer SE to other brands but they are behind at the moment and I'm not going to defend them in this.
As for those pics it's where I refer to him losing it every now and then.

even if eldar is pro nokia thats his perogative and if you dont like it no one is forcing you to go to his site or read his reviews.
so if he is pro nokia maybe he has good reason to be so through user experience or whatever and not because of underhanded reasons as some may think.
is this forum pro se?
