Seems like a cool service, but it didn't work for me. I live in the U.S. and use AT&T (they don't support MMS). The first step to set up your account entails entering your phone number on a web page. Then their system sends an SMS with your login code. The SMS never came through.

Attention AT&T! You'd better start supporting MMS or I'm switching to T-Mobile!

@lips- OTA-over the air config. Just keep on trying until u rcv an authorization code fr them. Then input it in the appropriate box. Ur then suppose to rcv a message askin if u wantd to install d settings. Yes then choose new profile. Ur on ur way. Had 2 try 2x or 3x b4 it workd.. if that's any consolation.. Hehe.

Got my mms settings ota also,you have to call globe cs to inform them that you wish to enroll for mms service.took a week before i received a msg that saie: WELCOME TO GLOBE MMS :-) sent a msg to my officemate to test and confirm and it works! :-D i'm using a prepaid acct and they only charge 5pesos,less than the 8pesos black and white picture msg for another mobile brand ;-)

nowmms is not completely free as we might have initially thought. if your SP charges you for data usage (ie GPRS charges), you will be billed for any amount of data you used for your MMS (ie 70k sized mms message will be billed for using 70k data in your network)

PS
reminders:
- this thread has been renamed and should deal only with nowmms discussions.
- please use English in the non-regional forums as much as possible

@jocer, you can access this thing even you are under the SMart Services. Just enroll at nowMMS website and you will receive an OTA settings from Smart but before that, you will confirm the network you are currently under in and smart is on the list.

This is easy to use cause you can do send across any phone on the globe. I have sent one from sweden. I hope he received it. Cross-network sending is enable here. The only problem is that, it is not free. But still, it is a good offer for it exceeds and resolves the limitations of other networks. Try it.

@* smart PH users
according to arnoldc you can't use nowmms. a few hours ago, i tried to request for the OTA message for a smart number. until now i have not received it. unlike globe where it only took a few minutes. like arnoldc said, they probably are "smart(ass)"es nga!

@maestro
cross network mms in PH (globe and smart) doesn't seem to be possible. none of the mms messages i sent to smart users got them

Please keep this to ourselves, we dont want globe to block the ip and the free mms usage. like what they did before on the sms- icq, quios, freesms etc... [addsig]

Hi there! It works in Poland too - we have an ability to use wap over gprs for 3$ per month - unlimited access to WAP sites - so MMS are free for me too!

It has been free for me woth Comviq here in Sweden to use GPRS since March 2002 until January 31th 2003, but maybe longer, and now itīll be free with MMS from November 2002 until february 2003.

Thatīs nice.
