When my iphone is locked people calling me hear "this is not a working number" when it is unlocked - no prob - but - the battery dies quickly. At and T won't help and Apple wants me to send it back in for repair. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.....!thanks....

In case you weren't aware, this thread is about the iPhoneLock software for Symbian UIQ3 phones and not the Jesus phone.
To answer your question, I never had that problem on my 2G iPhone. Maybe someone who has a 3G iPhone can chip in.

The backlight problem is solved by setting "UsePowerSaving=0", in the .ini file found in the "shared" directory on your memory stick, never had the other problem, but I'd suggest trying the methods for deleting ghost sms described above.

I've been monitoring this project for some time now, and I don't think there's a new version in the works as .5 is pretty stable. There may be a chance of some incorporation with the igallery project, but as this is still in beta methinks uiq will be long superceeded before this ever happens.

You'll need a proper file manager & text editor to locate/edit the file - xplore does both

Dear Mods, this thread should be put back in the Symbian section as it relates to Kwull's iphonelock software for uiq3 phones,

Cheers,

No, you should be able to locate the file with SMP, either edit it on your phone with a text editor such as jtext, or copy it to your pc and edit it there.

I only suggested xplore as it has a built in text editor.
