Well seems like joysticks have been phased out for now, so i don't think we'll be seeing them in SE phones any time soon.

One major reason joystick is fading out because it is not durable.... Very easy to break. Hope this Dpad will have a longer life time

The unit does come with stereo speaker function. Both front and back speakers generate sound when playing music. I compared the sound next to the w890i, to me, it seems the T700 has a better sound effect.
One bad thing is when holding it on hand. the plastic backdoor part gives you a less solid feeling.
We will have both color available very soon. both the silver and red.
One interseting thing worth mention is when moving the D-pad inside the menu, the unit does vibrate a bit.

I got a brand new T700 yesterday. It's really nice. However - when setting it up, I chose language to be determined by SIM and most everything is in English - except a few file names are still in Chinese! I tried again setting the language to English (as opposed to "According to SIM") and still - a few file names in Chinese.
I can't find a way to edit the file names either since they are LOCKED files (having come with the phone).
Any thoughts?
Cool Im looking forward to getting one too. I think Im going to go for the silver one. Just a few questions.
1.What colour did you get?
2.How does the phone feel?
3.Does it have Mega Bass?
4.Is the top part metal?
5.Hows the keypad back lighting? ( I have a black W890 and a silver one and back lighting was on, on the silver one it was hard to read the numbers)
6.How does it compare to the W890 (if you had one)
7.If the top is metal and the bottom plastic how does the plasric look? Is it of a good quality?
Sorry for all the questions thanks!

Well that's one thing that my t650 also has and it's pretty anoying because I hear the vibration (I think the keys are shaking) not feel it :/ The function comes with enabled flash themes and you can't turn it off. |

This is A W890I WITH DIFFERENT COVERS! How could it possibly take them an entire year to design a different cover??? Even the numeric keypad is identical!!! |

Exactly! Absolutely the same as W890I, only no 3G and more plastic and no Memory Card comes with the phone......and yes, it is more expensive than W890I nowdays.....this is about to laugh....or cry? |

It does have 3G, but just no video call camera. But yeah I agree it's a bit ridiculous, especially when they try to market this as something special when in reality it's another copy-and-paste phone.

Now, this explains the one-year delay! They needed ample time to perform the technological feat of REMOVING THE FRONT CAMERA! LOL! LOL! |

Why not? I think a mid range phone with this spec level selling for <200 Euro would be a hit. I'm very tempted but I'll likely go for the W980 instead.

In the T700 thread I said this, and got no response.

I didn't expect the T700 to be coming to NZ as we didn't get official versions of the W890 or T650, but it seems it's not coming to the UK, US or Australia either. Will this phone support the English language?
It seems that this phone may not suit people for whom english is their only language... can anyone upload some screenshots of the foreign language only files?
