Just entered my head what happens when we die |

That question struck me when I was about 8. I then realised that we're all going to die some day. I was quite depressed for an hour or two (I can remember it quite clearly). But since then I kinda got used to that fact. Now I just don't care what comes after death. Life's too short to worry about what's beyond it.
Although generally, I believe that there is nothing after death. We just stop working like powered-down robots. And then absolute nothing (not just nothing - that's something).
Or maybe our mind "ascends" to a higher plane of existence/dimension. I dunno and frankly, don't care too much.

One can believe what they wish,
but i for one am proud to worship one God and beleive in the Prophets that have come to this world (peace be upon them all)
I also beleive in Angels, Heaven, Hell, the Holy books, and the hearafter.
My belief is that life is a short journey for all,
the real life starts one you will die, every second will be questioned, there are 2 destinations - either heaven or hell.
My faith gives me inner peace every second of my life, i think of death every day as it is around the corner, this life is too short to argue over, the hearafter is eternal.
Many agree and many disagree but thats my life.

Well death is good as life after all... It's some sort of a change... You transfer from this life to another... From other dimension and shape to other.

Well as long as people can see the difference between belief and proven fact, then that's ok
I can't stand it when people attempt to force their beliefs on you as they insist what they believe MUST be the ONLY way, gets quite annoying lol.
Everyones entitles to believe what they wish, so long as they don't try and enforce it on others really. We all make our own choices and decisions |

Those looking for facts, has anyone spoken to a dead guy? What if feels like is unknown. Can people imagine what it is like not to see, smell, hear anything? Imagine if you could not think about anything? Its beyond anybodys imagination.
If there was nothing after death, people would go on doing anything like drugs, girls, steal a Ferrari, shoot the fool that plays loud music on the bus etc. because death is inevitable so why not go nuts? Who defines the limit and why do people hesitate?
I'm with PK and believe in the after-life. I fear that I will be punished for my sins and I hope my hard work in this life is rewarded. This life is nothing compared to what lies ahead, its a matter booking your ticket and making sure the destination is correct. |

Just look at this huge beautiful earth and space around us. Someone or something has to have created it all. This big bang thing is crap to me. There is a reason we are all here. |

sorry but am with PK on this one...
I am born of one spirit and in one spirit i shall die and be questioned of all the deeds i have carried out in my short life... Only then would the trinity of God the father, the son and the holy ghost decide on whether i live my second life in heaven or hell.
But again lets not make this thread into arguements for and against religious beliefs....
I believe in God and the Holy Books, other people dont....

There is no evidence, at least scientific, which prooves any outcome of what happens after death. 'nothing' happening after death is an outcome. People tend to believe that 'nothing' happens, isnt proven by the fact that we don't know and don't expect to find out while we're alive.
So as far as I can see 'nothing' happening and heaven/hell are as believable/unbelieveable as each other. Truth is nobody knows as fact. |

True.
But i beleive in the Unseen and will do forever.
Life is a temporary aboad, looking back at life it's like a few seconds have been all we have lived.
With time, Man is in big loss. The eternal life is after death, may sound stupid to some, but thats my beleif.
There is only 1 God and to him belongs the heavens and the Earth, he does what he wills, he had no Partners, to him is the final return. He is the master of the Day of reckoning and that day is not far away.
Peace y'all

Why should there be?
Also, the big bang is a pretty solid theory. We know (almost) for sure what happened seconds after it and are able to presume what happened before these couple of seconds.

As long as we understand that people have differing points of view then it should be all good.
Having the right to get your point of view across is more important than what you point of view actually is.

If I can't see it, I don't believe it.
Especially books which contradict themselves. Which is probably the Holy Book over every major religion.
I'm an atheist, I know I'm going into the ground in a wooden box.
Though I'd like to believe I'm coming back as something else, something cool...
Like Ricky Gervais or something.
