@bad
whether to bring Islamic law in the country or for any other reason, there is NO justification what so ever for killing innocent people, woman and children (Muslim or non-Muslims) period. If the government has done something wrong, take action against the government not innocent by-standers. why do they have to pay for the wrong doing of the government? IMO this is a very lame excuse that these people make. OK yes Pakistan is helping America but that does not justify suicide bombings. and these bombings have been going on from way before but have recently increased in numbers

People need to stop playing the victim and stop blaming the West and America for everything. The only way this "war on terror" can stop, is if BOTH sides stop playing the side of the victim and except responsibility for there actions, such as the war in the middle east, 9/11 etc. A problem can only be resolved if people resolve there problems. To do this, people must admit and find out what those problems are and stop blaiming everyone else.
Im so sick of these America hating bigots.
We should not think about peoples views on Islam, terrorism, America or anything like that, we should be thinking of the people who died in this tragic incident. To be honest I would hate to live under Shariah regime. Democracy has its flaws but at least people have freedom to live there lives rather beening restricted from all the laws and regualtions of religion. |

The fighting in the middle east has been going on since the time of Jesus. When he was being sent to his Death on cross he said WEEP NOT FOR ME BUT FOR YOURSELVES. Because he could forsee what was going to happen. The fighting in the middle east was not started because of THE WEST. |

It's just been revealed that had the Champions Trophy cricket tournament gone ahead without postponement, then NZ's 'Black Caps' Cricket Team would have been staying at the Marriot Hotel at the time of the bombing.
Fortunately concerns over security meant the team are now wondering what might have been... those concerns were obviously well founded.
This is breaking news, I'll post a link when one appears.

Black Caps reveal they were due to stay at attacked Islamabad hotel
Wed, 24 Sep 2008 6:06p.m.
In a chilling revelation, the Black Caps have revealed that they were due to stay at Islamabad's Marriott Hotel last weekend at the same time as a devastating bomb attack.
If the scheduled Champions Trophy in Pakistan had gone ahead, the Black Caps would have been at the hotel, the moment 53 people died.
"From all reports we were going to be at that hotel that weekend in the original draft of the Champions Trophy," Black Caps' Kyle Mills said. "There's so much relief that we didn't have to go through anything like that."
New Zealand, Australia, England and South Africa all pulled out of the Champions Trophy because of security fears.
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India were prepared to go ahead, but the International Cricket Committee put the event on hold. More...
