Im now very happy with my K850, i reinstalled its FW and its now running smoothly. its a fantastic phone especialy for a 'Dumb' phone, and it looks great.
The Ivory K810 looks sweet, was never a big fan of K800/K810 i had the W900 back then which IMO was a far better multimedia phone than a K800/K810.

I love my k850i
People say the touch screen buttons are useless- I love them! They are not annoying they respond very well and don't go crazy when you don't even touch them (like some phones, not naming any ) They feel so nice when using them, and when zooming in if and moving around I pretend it to be all touch screen because the on screen words telling you what each button does goes away. Just for fun. Again I though it was stupid before I bought them and that I'll be replacing the keyboard every month! But no it's fine their great, they don't make annoying clickly noises when you touch them.
People say the cover is too shiny, I love the cover! If your hands are greasy then of course you will get marks and stuff, but you just clean it once a month with a screen cleaner and it is fine. It looks so nice when you put it in daylight and focus on the back and it looks really cool mirror...
The D-pad- thats good because it saves you time and the buttons are all in one place. It is impossible to touch the d-pad instead of the number buttons, unless you have fat hands, which in that case, loose weight.
No crashes for me and I have the first ever firmware.

Touch buttons aren't useless. They are good sometimes, but there were some cases when they died as a hardware fault of the parts... That's why many people hate them.

Is it ok to update the firmware of K800i using the latest k810i firmware? If yes, where can I download it? Will updating the firmware delete everything on the phone like games and applications installed? |
