The G502 is a great phone, but I have found R1F is very buggy.

My phone crashes, a lot, typically every 2 days. It just freezes, the screen goes blank & the backlight comes on. You must remove the battery to fix it. When you switch it back on you must reset the time and date.

I presume this is software related, it seems unlikely to be a hardware fault.

Hmm.. i dont have any of your problems.
Try to reinstall with SEUS, if it dont help, go back to your dealer.

Last time i have that kind of issue (among others) and i solved after update the OS.

The latest G502 firmware release by SEUS is R1FB031. Other FW is R1FA031,R1FA035,R1FA036,R1FA037

my G502's firmware is R1FA031. tried updating it via SEUS but i get a message saying i already have the latest firmware. why is this so?

newer versions didn't officially released by SEUS..

BTW, I have upgraded my FW to R1FA037 via A2Uploader.. And it works great especially in modified drivers..
