Well he was talking about W890. Anyway, that phone cannot do this yet... When 3150 patform is cracked you should be able to patch it. But now, going to the police seems to be the only option if she wants to stay with the sony ericsson w890.

Or getting a sim only (paygo if you want) and be rid of the number and provider soonest.

Of course, people who harass or stalk others might not necessarily be limited to mobile phone abuse??? Police may be the better option.

On my K810i when I was getting a nuisance caller, I set a Closed Groups list. This allows you to edit the people who can reach you to a limited list of about 10 numbers. This should help you I think.

Hi thanks for replies Its a contract phone so getting a new card will be £35 pounds, anyway getting a new number isn't much good they have same group of friends so he will keep getting it,Yes she wants to stay with phone but will have to make the decision new phone that will block him or continue getting harassed because she won't go to police even though this has been going on for a year. How long do u think the patch for these phones will be? Is it something that will be soon.

Please see my post above. This will solve the problem but limit the people who can reach the phone to about 10, don't depend on a patch I don't think it will ever come. Either use my above solution, or buy a new phone, like a Samsung. They all allow blocking as far as I know. My girlfriends U600 does very simply.

Another thought: can't your provider block the number for you?

Menu > Settings > Calls > Manage Calls > Accept Calls > Only From List...

For blocking SMS, just delete and don't reply it... To make it easy, just sort sms by Number...

PS: I hav the same experience with your daughter...
