BRR

Hmmmm I got it.

I guess when SE release their phones they are up for highest efficiency in all areas. But why would some one need to modify it, and modify what e.g. camera?

Good news for K800 CID 53 users!
Love or hate me...

Nokia 5120 -> Nokia 6120 -> SE T200 -> Motorola V800 -> SE W800 (stay with my wife) - > SE K800 (stay with my mom) -> Nokia N82 Silver -> Nokia N82 Black Edition - Firmware v30.0.019 -> What is the next??.

Well CID53 DB2020 is available, but no one knows about the A200 flashing support... I have read somewhere that it won't have it, but it was not oficial and confirmed info...

Yeah K750 and K800 users have been too much served by XS++ updates ...cid53 before A2 support....NOW it's time for K850 and W910 to have a XS++!!

Now its time ?? Dude time has been like 8mths ago! Both the K850 & W910 are nearing end of life while the newer A2 phones (W980, C905, etc) are ready to be released to the public within 30-90days. I wanted to flash my K850i for so long, and I've gotten tired of waiting that my needs have changed due to the course of my night life. However there is STILL a majority that need it now.

Well SE have toughened their encryption since the days of the K750 (when xs++ was first developed).

It is a free service after all so it's hard to be critical of these guys who give us such awesome software

But I admit I am waiting with baited breath myself. I've only just moved to the W910 and the lack of file system access is frustrating to say the least. I've debranded through davinci (though the fs debrand failed - so I have SE icons instead of Vodafone - but still have vodafone content I can't delete) and tbh I'm happy to pay for debranding but it's file system access I need and davinci et al don't offer that service.

Their Linux beta works like a charm. I made a GDFS backup of my K800i before flashing MAIN and FS without a hitch. All you need is an Ubuntu install cd. You can use it to boot into a Live desktop, download a few deps and you're ready to go. I'm pretty sure once it hits final there will be a Windows build which shouldnt be too long now. And if not there will be mini Live Linux distro's out there that give you access to it. It wouldnt be hard to add XS++ 4.x to a Slax install and create a live USB or CD version with it. So for now you gotta wait if you don't wanna mess with Linux.
