K850 Vs C902...(pictures) |

I don't see how the c902 photo is better. Being totally unbiased I would have to rate the N95 photo as better. The C902 photo is overexposed and has lost detail. Look at the sand behind the red car. In the C902 pic the sand is just a bright single colour and the bench behind the red car almost seems to glow. In the N95 pic you can see different colours/contrasts in the sand. If you download both pics (they are only 1024x768 - which doesn't even fill most screens) and zoom in a little it's very hard to pic much difference at all. With such a difference in exposure and the small resolution of the photos it's hard to make comparisons about JPEG compression in the leaves. The N95 has had improvements in the camera driver and the compression is no longer as agressive

...(i tried some document shooting on landscape, nature with c902,,,woooaaahhh, what a sharpness it became)
super sharpness c902 vs k850
You need to post full size photos for a true comparison of sharpness. Downsized photos will show exposure and color.
Fair comparison would be at a resolution at which people view their photos, which is what plank posted. No one here, i'm pretty sure, has a monitor running at 2500x1200 resolution so taking a pic at that resolution is pointless. It may tell the true story about the camera, but its pointless.
I always use the feature called "view pics in actual size" in my viewer. Why? That way you can always see the smallest details such as texture, writings, infos, objects bla3.
The point of having 5MP camera is to have the details of 5MP pics. So for everyone who doesn't have the phone, it's natural to want to see the full-res since it shows the real quality of the cam that they have to know about (before probably buying it). So it's really ridiculous to say "so taking a pic at that resolution is pointless".

there isn't much difference between the two phones but if you take a picture you have to make sure that everything is the same with the two camera's
if you change the angle a bit that could make a huge difference |

Yeah-I wouldn't really judge exposure on these shots- I know if I'd take two shots with my dslr in a situation like this- both of them could look completely different. Once it could focus on the sky (darker picture), another time on a tree (bright colorless sky and overexposed light objects). |
