iPhone 3G is coming.
Compared with the iPod touch, iPhone is my favorite.

congrats on your new purchase...

what software version is it running atm? Also are you interested in jailbreaking it (ie hacking it) so you can install games, themes and more? Or are you just happy with it being a pucker music/video player and web browser?

another PM 4 u

the touch is such a good bit of kit... you wont be disappointed with it. Personally i did find that eventually i grew a little bored with the things you can install on it, and was just using it for the normal things music etc.

Impressed with the price you got it for. Bargain!

Also on the case side of things - i got a Belkin silicone case for mine which came with a screen protector for about £12. Personal preference though...there are some nice leather cases available, but i think they just detract away from its slimness

No probs at all, and as i said if you need any help at all with anything i'd be more than happy to help

I've been thinking about getting some new headphones for mine to replace the ones that come with it. Do you have any recommendations? I do have some mahussive Bose noise cancelling ones, but they're too big for every day use

nice, i remember they were £30 not so long ago! How good is the sound in them compared to the ones you get with the ipod? Do you get different sized buds with them also?

awesome.... think i will tbh. Only thing putting me off is i'd rather have them in black, but thats just being picky especially at £9.99

Is this your first ipod then? Touch is the first ipod i've ever owned...the Coverflow is just sooooo nice

a good little tip if you didnt know: if you double press the home button when music is playing it pops up with a little window so you can pause/play skip track etc easily without having to go back in to 'music'

either by paying the £20 for the software update, or by jailbreaking it
