well, if you look carefully, this HPM-77 is somewhat bigger. Look at the metal part before the rubber earbud. It's bigger than the earbud in HBH-DS 980 and HPM 70 doesn't has that...

But yes, they're similiar, they both are earbud-earset style right?

Yeah, both same style but there can be a difference in sound quality.

Has anyone compared the sound quality of HPM-77 with the Creative EP-630 or EP-635?

No, only with the hpm70. The ep630 are better overall performers, but the hpm70 is better for base.

Don't know about the hpm77 though, haven't heard them yet.

As said, ep630 has less bass compared to hpm-70. Anyway, i want to share mine. With less than 30 dollars, i got a really beefy sound with my phillips SHE-9700. What i did, i changed the wire to a normal ipod style (coz i hate neck-strap), soldered the end directly to SE proprietary plug and there you go.

which one the best HPM for :
1. balance sound output for bass and treble, but of course bass must be more than treble
2. in ear phone
3. price too, hi..hi..

HPM 77 or HPM 82?
or you can give me another choice.
thanks b4....

I've just tried the HPM-77

initail impession is that its sounds very clear and crisp comparing it to hpm-70 and 75s, so defintely a better product.

I do have k800-k810, peter HIFI drivers, and hyper bass patch. All together with the HPM82 are just great . The sound is very loud and clear, the bass too.all what can say THEY BLOW ME AWAY.
about the 77 i can't say anything since i haven't tried them yet.

bass SEEMS weaker, dont know if it is due to the apparently clearer audio.

Hi guys,

is the external sound reduction of HPM70 as good as the EP630's?
