Yeah,by now we all know the 'phone' is another total crap/failure from Sorryericsson. No wonder they are going down even faster then Motorola. And before you all go on about my poor spelling (after all you have to criticize something to defend SE's breath taking and innovative tech.),I suggest you wait for the 2nd quarter finacial results and see what for the 'non fanboys' have 'voted' with their wallets. I for one stand at my opinion and hope SE will do something to return to the former glory. But then again, probably you chaps are right, everything is perfect as is and SE should'nt change.

put aside SE failed to launch interesting new stuff to please fan
i believe the writer don't even know what G700 and G900 was meant for.
I remember it was meant to be a mass market product.
so he shouldn't compare it with flag ship smartphone...in fact this might be the first year we didn't see any flag ship uiq smartphone announced.... maybe 2nd half of the year? or it will never be out since Paris/ Beibei got cancelled. which is already widely discuss else where
to summarize my standpoint...some reviewer don't look overall picture...i don't blame them but at the end of the day we make our own judgement whether we should buy one product. |

I was split between the G900 and N82 for a very long time...and since they basically cost the same (N82 being a bit cheaper), I eventually went for nokia...it just seemed like such a rip off for the amount of money that I have to pay for.....just a touchscreen.
It's been nice knowing you K810 lol

Agreed. I haven't watched the video yet so won't comment on that.
But the G900 has a place in the SE lineup. SE haven't done a non-walkman mid range UIQ phone as far as I know, and 5.0Mp + UIQ is a first for SE.
Not my cup-of-tea but will suit plenty of others I expect.

I agree with carkitter... The G900 is the first phone that has 5.0mp camera... This phone looks like standard phone (most of non smartphones look like that)... And in my opinion this phone would be bought from many non-smartphone users because it's standard look, so smartphone users number will be much higher...
P.S. This phone reminds me of the K610, I don't know why haha

To be honest, this is the best phone i ever had. The P1i was nice, but not nearly as nice as the g900. The form factor and the size are important, but also the interface is very good imo. |

Really Mario, with the amount of crap that comes out of our mouth sometimes I'm surprised we can tell one end of you from the other!
There isn't one single reason why they're issuing profit warnings, its a combination of factors.
The C902 is selling well was is the W890i. They just need more phones and need to get them out faster.
Like I always said, a larger company is more stable, less likely to be taken over and can ride the storms more easily.
Funny how for the past two years SE has been gunning for the lower end in order to grow market share but was criticised for doing so. Now its been effected by a high-end slow down and people are wondering why it has been affected so badly.

the G900 is a very good alternative to the P1, specifically if they have qualms bout the qwerty rocker keypad. it could have been a dif'rent story if it had been released 6 months to 1 year earlier. but I could still say that the G900 is one of the finest offering from Sony Ericsson. |

interesting that this thread is drawing more posts than the more constructive G900 discussion thread |

well.. to be honest, i don't get it when they are bragging about the late introduction for this phone at least a year? i didn't even see anything that come close to this offering, not even by any other manufacturer up until they introduce the phone. Even until today, no other manufacturer has this kind of offering.
They are supposed to be embarrassed for posting such a review. They don't even realize that Sony Ericsson doesn't even market this phone as a camera phone!! they are promoting this phone for the sake of bringing compact smartphone that doesn't look like one. lolx.. they totally miss out the point. |

I've been using this phone for over a month now and i am enjoying. Basically this phone is for the small people, knows little of everything and whose main function is as a phone. But it also doesn't mean that it is not fitted for the techies. I mean, yeah the OS is kinda old but it works.
*Oh yeah Mizzle, I can't access USEB at home it always gives me Error 404. I'm in Hong Kong btw.
