I asked if inactive members were deleted because it would drop me down to the number 2 position
but I agree that this would delete a part of Esato's history, so deleting should not be done...
Not sure why, but new members are added in the members list as 1,2,3 , so laffens number changes 154610, to 154611 when a new member registers.
I am still wondering if I am the oldest by age here, just turned 54 years!

thats just a sequence number for the purposes of the member list display. By default it shows newest member first and oldest member last
in that list you have the ability to click on "From" to get the list sorted by "From" in each members profile and you can also click on "Posts" to have the list sorted by each members post count.
In both these cases the number shown to the left is still just a sequence number

well, if you press the Members button you'll see the newest to the oldest. but if you click the last page you'll see the first(laffen) and then count backwards

yes, click on Members at the top, then click on the highest page number (seen right next to "next", currently this is 5154)
This takes you to the end of the list so start there and work your way forward
sorry, there's no way to sort the member list to bring the earliest members to the first page

yep, thats exactly how i began my investigation as well!
i do believe you have the oldest member title Ofiaich, wonder if i'll still be here when im 54?!
thats 26 years away so by that time we'll probably be able to post just through the power of thought, or something equally as mind boggling!
when i do, i'll expect a response from an 80 year old Ofiaich as well!!! |
