a nokia communicator wont be as the as the p800 for one reason, its LAPTOP-LIKE.
and another point, this phone will be released after about a year and the p800 is released for about 15 days now

@Anas,
I beg to differ. If Nokia does something about its size/weight and implement GPRS and Bluetooth in their new Communicator, I think it'll be a strong competitor to the P800.

....And from what I've heard, Nokia has been working on this new communicator for quite some time now, so I wouldn't be surprised if we'll see it before summer. And many ppl think it'll "kick p800's a$$".... I'm not to sure about that though, but I'm really looking forward to see what they've got up their sleave as an answer to the P800.

well, if the phone is same as old communicators, it won't have a camera, handwriting recognition, touch screen or a pocket size.
and the screen on p800 is almost like the communicators one, so you dont need to open and close everytime you want to use the phone.

@Anas,
From what I've heard(rumours) it won't be like the old communicators. It'll have both a touch-screen and the Qwerty keyboard, and the size/weight will be minimized as much as (practically) possible. About the camera, well I for one didn't buy the P800 because of it's integrated camera, infact I almost wish it didn't have one. Sorry, but I'm very disappointed with the quality of the camera. it's my only complaint about the p800 so far though.

well, the is not yet announced, so it may arrive on the forth quarter, that means using the p800 for more than a year, so u will have the best for a year, and who knows if this nokia will be better than p800, until now there is no phones that we can say its better overall, even the motorola paragon 2 doesnt seem to be like the p800.

i wonder how can i upgrade my P800?? im having some problems with it and i hope SE fixes those problems and bugs through an upgrade.
P.S. actually, alot of other people think the camera is cool so if they think its cool it makes the phone that much better..lol |

@D_G, Yeah, it sure cost a he!! of alot, but I haven't regreted buying it one second! I think it's worth every one of my hard earned pennies!
Haven't encountered any major bugs yet. I think it runs damn smoothly, and it's stable as he!!!!!!! So I'm more than happy with it, just waiting for some more 3'rd party apps so I can have profiles, T9 input etc...
Well, that's my experience anyway, sorry to hear that you're having some troubles... What kind of problems are we talking about?

camera is really nice,you must need it, and its not that bad, and at least there is a button for it.
and i think that there will not be a mobile phone like the p800, this phone is really power, i just cant imagine how is all this feats squeezed into a perfect sized phone, everything u could imagine is in the phone. and u really feel comfortable with the phone, i used the 7650 for about 5 months, didn't felt the same feeling i felt with t68i and p800, with those phones u feal like u r having the best phone at all, with the 7650 i was really uncomfortable with the phone, like the size of it with the kepad slide, bad speaker, bad reception and more, i really hate to open the slide, but the p800 is a perfect phone, doesnt look stupid like the 3650, or bulky like 7650, and it is an excellent reliable phone...
