There are custpacks available in xs++ in a drop-down menu when you tick the 'customise file system' box.

Tbh I don't know if you can use a different version custpack to what is already installed (although I would have thought this should work)

Have you checked the k800 custpacks that are available in xs++

I would have thought any generic unbranded custpack should work; although hopefully another member can confirm this before you do go ahead with using a custpack built in to xs++ that may not have the same version as your phone.

Well It all worked a real treat!! flashing without a hitch yay!!

But i have out smarted myself I also updated my K800i with SEUS dumb ol' me!!

now it's CID53 and as far as I can find that's not supported yet so I'll just sit back and wait until it is
it's my fault anyway lol ha ha ha

hope the crew at xs++ have success soon though
thanks to everyone for all your great support and don't forget to leave your view on this posts question

The only free flashing program that supports cid53 is jdflasher plugin for FAR (information on se-nse) This allows for flashing of main and fs along with transferring files - although through a less graphical interface.

Hopefully xs++ will support cid53 in the near future though
