ummm SE's home patch? Ericsson are Swedish, Sony are Japanese, just because they have offices here doesn't mean this is their home turf, and compared to the rest of Europe and Japan, we in the UK mean little!

super - i know what ur saying, but if ur that desperate why not get an import or a pre-release model? i can get a pre-release one for £400 but would rather wait for one that's fully supported. i read somewhere on here a while ago saying that the UK networks are the most stringent in testing the phones b4 release, surely a good thing in the long run? and at least they'll hopefully have ironed out some of the issues that we've been reading about here from people that have them already. Just be patient m8!

man i get what your saying to but its will almost be a year that we hav been waiting for the p800 if it comes out in feb since it shown last march and i will wait since i like to go to a local shop and buy it, but £400 for a pre-release is good since you get if for almost £200 cheaper and all you have to do is get a software update once the com-version is out out?

thats about £550 quid, and plus i wouldn't feel safe about buying it from there, even thought it is most likely really safe and sound.
yeah i would be intrested kev but by the time it took for me to look into it in detail the p800 will (hopefully) be out in the cpwh. whch reminds me i was in a cpwh today and the p800 had a code and on there system for the first time so maybe the will be getting them in simfree first the on networks

@super
u shld trust UAE.. they r too bloody rich to even consider ripping u off or screwin u over
and for ur statement on y the middle-east is so damn special, well, in UAE, ppl buy phones with shopping carts (or so the rumor goes)
and well in lebanon, ppl spend all their pay check (I dont know how they eat to tell u the truth) on phones..
I dont know about the rest of the middle east, but it's a giant consumer of phones = great revenue...
