where is the best place to find compatible menu icon packs for my k800i?
I'm still searching and haven't yet found any that I like... not saying that they are shit just want to see as many as I can before I get started
and how do you get rid of the operator logo on the main screen?? {I can't seem to find it}

If you look through this thread there a lot of different menu icon packs available.

Once you have found one you like it can be uploaded to tpa/preset/system/menu through xs++

Here is the layout.xml file that will remove the operator logo - just replace the original file under tpa/system/layout through xs++

No prob mate, I'm glad that I've been able to help

This layout.xml should work fine with your wife's w300 if you upload it to the same directory again. As with the above k800 layout this is a layout.xml that I have modified so if it doesn't work just let me know, although I'm pretty sure it should work.

Edit: You need to remove the W300 from the file name before uploading it in order for it to work. It should just be called layout.xml

Ok, I've changed the layout.xml and think I have sorted the problem, if you would like to try this file instead

This time you will need to remove k800 from the file name so it is simply called layout.xml as before.

Firstly, I'm glad the k800 layout is working

Now for the w300 - I've found the problem with how I modified the file and rectified this, the new file can be downloaded here

Edit: You still need to remove the w300 text in the file name (although you will have problem already though of that)
