1. Back up your SMS, contacts, notes ... with MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.6.7.exe
Click F2, then Search device and if cann't find phone install USB drivers:
k800_usb_signed_drivers.zip
k810_usb_signed_drivers.zip
2. Download: Far_Manager_with_JDFlasher_plugin.rar (click Extract Here)
3. Click F11
4. Click db2020, DCU-60, 921600 then click [jump down into a large rabbit hole]
5. Click twice on oflash
6. Download and extract K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_RED53.rar
Once completed flash on Main do not disconnect phone!
7. Download File System ( FS) from http://www.topsony.com/forum/local_links.php?catid=1436 (To me I need this file: K810_R8BA024_FS_MEDITERR_RED53.rar) See the example at the beginning of the post!
After flash on File System click twice on " .."
 -> click yes.
Discconect USB cable, remove the battery and put it back into the phone, but do NOT turn on!
8. Download your Custpack from: http://www.topsony.com/forum/local_links.php?catid=257 (To me I need this file: HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_4_R8A_GENERIC_MEDITERR )
See the example at the beginning of the post!
9. Again connect to FAR and click F11
10. Click db2020, DCU-60, 921600 then click [jump down into a large rabbit hole]
11. click twice on ofs
12. Open tpa/ preset/ custom ( On the right unzip Custpack and open tpa/ preset/ custom)
After customize on File System click twice on " .."
-> click yes.
Now can turn on phone and see on screen Please wait !!!
13. Again connect to FAR and click F11
14. Click db2020, DCU-60, 921600 then click [jump down into a large rabbit hole]
15. click twice on ofs
16. Download: K800_lighteffects.rar
Open tpa/ preset/ system/ lighteffect/ systemeffects
After K800 lighteffects click twice on " .."
-> click yes.
Now phone work fine.

i think... this is latest for k800i @k810i ....
but hows w850i or w880i firmware use in k800i.... i just want to use that walkman with normal working camera without/ with 3.2 mp.. |

R8BF003 - K810 - CID53 is the latest firmware for the K810... Anyway If you flash your K800 with W850/880 firmware you get problems... For example:
if you flash with W880 firmware:
- get walkman
- get flash themes
- lose camera (there is a way to use it downgraded to 2 megapixel)
- lose joystick functionality and have messed up keys...
if you flash with W850 firmware:
- get walkman
- get flash themes
- camera not working at all
- lose memory stick micro (M2) support
- lose joystick functionality...
so after all, I think it's definately NOT WORTH

for camera with 2mp.... right.. then it;s ok.. np with it..
and what about joystick it didn't work at all ..as well no key buttons ???
if we mange normal keypad working then its ok use with it.. |

Yes, but do NOT update your phone to CID 53 - cann't apply patches, cann't use other programs (XS++, Setool ), cann't make Back up/Restore on GDFS.
Stay with CID 52 !!!

Hello everyone. I have just tried to upgrade my K800 cid53 to k810 cid53. I followed the instruction above. After finishing flashing the FS and add custom, I start the Phone, saw Please wait but the screen keep flashing. When I updated the lighteffect, the problem still happen. Please help me and thank you. |

Try using the K800's default display driver and lighteffects... Maybe the effects you are trying to use are corrupted... At www.se-nse.com there were some custom light effects based on lighteffects from other phones... You may try them too to see if they work with your phone... It may solve the problem.

After unsucess flashing to k810 firmware (display keeps flashing) I do SESU upgrade and I get full functional k810 firmware on my k800.
Now I just need to unlock phone again. |

You cannot unlock CID53 by patch. Patching is still not available for CID53 DB2020 phones...
You have to use some of the online clients to unlock your phone, but it is not for free...

Make sure you have the latest and most stable version of jdflasher plugin...
