First : K750i, now keep on using W800i & W810i | J230i as 2nd phone | Z300i for Mum | K610i for GF
But won't buy anymore as no amazing phone after W900i (Except Japan SE phone)

SE continues the K and J series with New K330 and J132,
that means Z and M series have chances to appear again...
if so SE now has 13 series... OMG!!

C / F / G / J / K / M / P / R / S / T / W / Z and Xperia

I really hope to ask is it necessary to have so many series?
How About BRAVIA? HANDCAM? PSP? VAIO?

After T630 the T-series was canceled, but now it appear again.
K-series canceled => no K900...
And why Z-series will be canceled? Where will be the future flip phones?
P-series - it was from PDA.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand...

Don't forget the V series mate. V for Vodafone.

@jojosiscar and mediar: The K900i was just speculation long ago. The K series as a good camera series is dead, and now exists as a low-end phone series. You won't see a K900i, if thats what you were meaning... However there will still be high end camera phones, they simply just won't have that name. And whats in a name?

@mediar

Z series can be cancelled, or say those flip phones do not need to classify as one series.
Just like T303 as a slider phone and grouped in T series... and those slider/flip in W series.
New classification is according to their main selling function, not their outlook, so:

C = Cyber-shot
F = Fun for games
G = Generation Web (not necessary be UIQ Phone, just like G502)
J = 2G Phone, Basic Function without camera
K = Basic Function with camera
M = Mail ?
P = UIQ PRO Phone
R = Radio
S = Snapshot
T = Style (just like T650 and T303)
V = Vodafone
W = Walkman
Xperia = WM Phone
First : K750i, now keep on using W800i & W810i | J230i as 2nd phone | Z300i for Mum | K610i for GF

I think you're mostly correct with your list, but I believe the M series is dead.

I'm also wondering M series is dead, but still there are 12 series even without Z series...

About the F and S series... Actually they are not that new you know... F and S series exist from a long time ago, but there were no many phone models available...

Now there are new models appearing and reneving these old series... Something similar happened with the T series... The T650 was out and revived this series back...

Little info:
J series - Junior
M series - Communicator / Messaging
T series - Fashion ( I think this is new, because T630/T630 are not fashion style...T100, T200... )
About F508 - this series was ( in 2004 ) for Vodavone, but then appear V series and F was temporarily canceled
P series was from PDA
K series ( 2003/2004 ) was from Kamera ( swedish )
Z series - Clamshell

Thanks... I almost forget there is F508 and D750 in the past.
The point is why SE try to sophisticate the classification?
When LG simplified it's classification to 6 series...
SE expand the lines to 10+...

Why SE always play marketing tricks but not concentrate on the improvement of their quality?

LG classification: http://www.eprice.com.tw/mobile/news/?news_id=6762
KP: Basic phone (KP320、KP215)
KF: Fashion (KF600、KF700、KF750、KF300)
KM: Music (KM300、KM501、KM700)
KC: Camera (KC550)
KT: Internet (KT610)
KS: Smart (KS10、KS20)

Those are old classification:
KU (UMTS), KG (GSM), KE (EDGE)

New LG phone will use the new one, like KC550, KM710, KS360, KT520 in CommunicAsia 2008.
But HB620T is an exception... don't know why...
