I have one Ming, been playing with it whenever a new phone gets boring I use it. It is a great modding comunity out there. I even have dos emu and windows 3.1 running flawlessly on it
It is good for me to see that it looks cool as before, but I kind of doubt they're going to release two models. Just IMO. |

They'll never bring it to the UK, it's the name that'll get Moto laughed out of the UK market with that thing. Great phone, poor name

Windows gave me up?
Yes mate, I am. Such a cool place! Though I rarely log in. I have never like d Moto but when I bought Ming I start to like the brand and in great part cause of that forum! As I seldom use my Ming nowdays I go to check out what's new there. Every time some nice news..
@daedalus85, meaning of 'Ming' is 'Name' in Chinese, if I'm correct. You would be surprised how good the phone is, even now, after more than a year on the market.

Thats pretty much the definetion of 'minging' in this country lol, and its quite common for people to say "you ming" as in, you're smelly, or disgusting.
See why the name won't work over here?
ps I know it's Chinese, I understand their reason for choosing it, but in the UK market it just wont sell.

I get your point now, and it's a valid one. If Moto ever consider selling this model in UK, they should reconsider the naming that's for sure....
P.S. I didn't doubt your familiarity with the Chinese language, I just didn't know what was about the name of it....
