Yeah cmd takes the place of ctrl commands on Windows,

it's all the same with cut, copy, paste etc.
they're all cmd+x instead of ctrl.

Hi Masseur,

Or you can just right click and choose open in new tab.

I am familiar with how to create new tabs (ctrl-T also does it), but I have a standard set of around 30 pages I want opened each time I start the browser. IE7 can do it, avantbrowser does it too but safari cannot

well if you really must know, there are 3 pages for Esato (various stuff that I watch/moderate), then there is my windows live email page, a gmail page, se-nse, 2 pages for hotukdeals, digg, pock pc thoughts, expansys home page, msmobiles, engadget, gizmo, quidco, sydney morning herald column 8, my-symbian, a couple of mobile review pages, clove technology, my sons bebo, USEB, modmyiphone, a couple of other techo sites and a couple of pages at the mo for villas I am considering renting in spain or portugal during the summer

anyway, I fiddled a bit and am not sure what I did exactly but flash player now works in both IE7 and Safari

It can! Just create a Bookmarks folder with all the bookmarks you want to be opened in it. Then choose "Open in tabs" from the bottom of the bookmarks menu for that folder.

So, how's everyone been? I haven't been on here for some time.

Masseur, did you get a Mac? Saw a few posts where you were considering it...

just sold my TX vaio leaving me with my SZ vaio so yeah, seriously looking for a cheapish mac. it'll mostly be for my wife though as she's seriously into graphics using Corel's PSP rather than photoshop and some other stuff I wouldn't have a clue about

edit: oh, and in case you missed it, I've been an iPhone convert for a couple of months now!

@masseur, to be honest, there is no such thing as a "cheap mac"

what is it that is attracting you about the mac??

just time to try something different and like I said, my Mrs wants to use one as she can get quite a few graphics software for macs. Also my son is doing IT at college, including graphic design, and so he could use it too.
