The only problem with P800 is that it came out late!
If you're looking for a phone to make and answer calls and occasionally send and receive some SMS messages - then there' a million gazillion phones on the market that can do the job nicely. They are what you're looking for - small and light.
P800 is a Swiss army knife of modern, portable multi-media devices. It has a large display which allows you to view Web pages, documents, applications, video, play games. Screen is touch sensitive, therefore interactive. You have no idea how natural such interaction can be unless you try it. And when you do, you'll never go back. You'll wonder how you ever survived without it.
Large display of course means also large phone...but if you make the comparison (size wise only) with similar products on the market you'll soon find out that the P800 is as big and smaller than the rest.
For my needs, P800 is perfect or very close to it. It has an open architecture, powered by a super Symbian 7. Many great applications are yet to hit this phone and I'm sure that a lot of P800's shortcomings will be addressed, eliminated, rendering this already great phone only greater. It can play music, entertain you and then it allows you to share and store your files on the memory stick.
You can take pictures with it and send them to your boss, friends, girlfriend over the internet...it's endless.
So to summarize it all - P800 is for those people who want to carry in their pocket -ALL- that today's science of mobile communications, multimedia and entertainment can offer under one shell. And such things can only come at a high price tag.
I for one am very happy to be the member of the elite club.

Ok here is an off the topic question for the P800 owners, how is the battery life? I play with my T68i enough as it is if I got a P800 I'd probably never put it down, unless I had to you know . |

i think masmes meant that the phone is to much for him,
he wants something small and has the most features, like T68i.
on the pont of view i agree with him, cuz i went crazy
for P800 , but after second thought , i knew i dont
want all the features the phone is given , also the price
is very high.
not to forget the size , cuz its really big in my hand, which i always
have been using small phones.

Hi guys.
I really didn't know that my threat would get so much attention!!.
First let me say thanks for all the answers.
And what I really ment with that topic is P800 is not giving the same feeling which we had when we bought the T68 last year.it is not only hichtecknoloji but also design.remember the first design of T68.!!
Wasn't it great??I was really proud of being a ownner of that phone.
but now when we go around with P800 people will just wonder what we are doing with that big and .....?I dont wanna say ugly its not ugly but its just not the dream mobile.
Ofcourse everybody wonders then what is my dream mobile!!?
Let me tell you then.
Do you remember guys that prototipe from sonyericsson some people called it P900 but nobody really knows its name.
That could be my dream phone with all the features T68 has and with some features fom P800 and camera ofcourse with a better display with more colors.
is that too much what i want??
I dont think so because what I know is SE can do that.
What i dont know why SE is not doing that or when they will do that.
Yes I'm saying one more time P800 is not my dream mobile but its a great phone for business people.
What do you think ?? |

Well my dream mobile is a T68i size and weight but with a better tft screen that´s it, maybe a little camera there to as on my GD87 java too and Voila my perfect mobile, but of course with nothing less than on my T68, because for some stupid reason they allways give us a new mobile but...with this and that not on the sw anymore. Now for sure SE can do that easily. |

Gee, a lot of new posters talking the P800 down lately.
Hey folks, can you spell T R O L L??
Getting a bit tired of this. You want a phone with the functionality of the P800, but you dont want the p800? TOUGH! No other phone matches it.

@TO EVERYONE WHO SAYS THE P800 IS BIG.@
Do you people stop lorry drivers & ask them why they don`t use cars?
At the moment scientists are developing a material that shows colour images that can be rolled out from a pen size mobile, also on the way are phones which project a keyboard onto a surface infront of the phone,if these were in one product you could have a qwerty keyboard & a large colour screen from a phone the size of a pen. BUT for the time being screen size dictates phone size. best limit your phone choice to a phone that offers ONLY the features you need thereby getting the smallest phone you can. P800 is HALF the size of an ipaq & it also has a phone & a camera built in. if anything there is a risk of it being a little too small for a phone/PDA.
