They're made of real steel and weigh roughly the same as the originals, says their website. Boy, can't wait for mine any longer!!! Should arrive today or tomorrow max, as the tracking number states.
Wish me luck ) |

Today I got my V8 today, finally!
After having had read all the stuff written here I gotta admit that I got a little discouraged and at some point thought that I'll get a piece of junk...
..But no, what I got seems to be pretty amazing! It's like the real deal - it feels cold as it's metallic, it's heavy, as it's supposed to be and it shines!
It's damn identical to the original (though I've never held the original in my hand). Hehe, guess what, it even makes calls and receives SMS, rofl (I was scared it wouldn't). There are tons of features inside, the firmware is not original I reckon, but it's rather powerful, says CECT v. 13.0.21.8E.
The manual is Chinese or Japanese, dunno. But there is an english version on the CD that came with the phone. All accessories included I even got 2 batteries instead of just one.
I should recommend these Vertus, so far so good! And in case anything happens, I'm backed up by their 12 month warranty policy, so hey hey hey I think I just got a new phone to love and care for
I'ma go n' explore my new flashy gadget, been playing with it all morning! |

Is the vertuclone one the same? How much did you buy it for? |

The vertu Ti clone looks exactly the same like the real one. The hardware component of it is pretty good. My friend haves one + I'm currently planning to get one.
Like this one over ebay. Pretty good looking!

The problem is try using it for several weeks, you will find the leather will staret falling apart. As with all fake items, logetivity shows the difference. Ever looked at/used a fake fashion bag/wallet...they tear and fall apart after a few months....what a waste of money! lol |

Ive got to admit having a mobile phone "clone" wouldnt bother me that much especially if it was for something that is normally so expensive like the Vertu.
It would have to be a damn good clone though and id need some one who's brought one to back it up as well (suppose to convince me). I have had fakes/clones before but it was a long time ago and they used to be rubbish so im not sure how they have come on but id definately get a Vertu clone.
As mentioned above I dont think many people actually know what a Vertu is. So the chance of getting noticed for having a fake phone is quite slim. I wouldnt want one for the "show off" factor though id just want one to keep and now and again use etc.

replica does not necessarily mean bad, you have team replica cars, bikes, clothing... most of the time, it's where you buy it from that counts ie: off the market stall? well done for buying a vertu replica that works & feels ok. i for one feel people like vertu deserve a slap for selling these things at those prices, but enough rich twits out there love throwing money away!
how many of essentially the same thing are made in the same factory in china. just stick a western badge / brand on it & up the price ten fold.
if i was that rich i'd just buy a bar of gold, take it out of my pocket & wave it around like a phone. i'd much rather have a feature rich SE phone than vertu any day! |
