Nice acc. esp. for those who would rather buy a G700 since it's cheaper than G9.

yeah, I don't expect the enabler + g700 would be cheaper than g900

Great stuff indeed. Maybe it will enable some skype-like free VoIP calls functions? |

That would depend on A200 being able to run a Skype app, which would be very cool but I doubt it. You'll probably need a Symbian OS for VoIP.
Any word of this moving from speculation to reality yet? This Wifi enabler would be a must-have for me at (almost) any price.

actually there is a skype client for java, and if the phone is designed to allow java to access the internet via an attached wifi enabler (and I'm quite sure it will be, aka bluetooth pan connectivity and java), then skype over the enabler should be possible

This would be wicked.
Seem that blog noted the photoscreen that I mentioned with the K850i flash demo site you & I both played with last Oct/Nov ... noting the mentioning of WLAN. I really hope this accessory is REAL and ships in large volume.
If there is any documentation of using VoIP apps in java at bootup then rejoice ppl because this means we have MIDP3 (something only the Motorola Rokr E8 currently has support for).
I'll be damned if SE gets shown up on JVM in their phones.

Well the Good thing is Java developers are already trying some cool things like Camera applications to be sent to a server as well as trying to get data shared - but with nothing as of yet finalized by SUN they're stuck. But their brains are working. i'm almost tempted to finally learn my 1st programming language
Loving my K850i right now and its BRANDED, lol - thought I'd never say that. Dude you gotta get one or the upcoming W760i.
Now any update on this WiFi Adapter?! Because even at $150CAN (we're stronger by a few cents than the US $ hehe) I'd buy one and it'll be worth it in value and purchasing price.

Yeah looks ok but there is no excuse why if A200 was compatible that they didnt have it in the first place. The only reason would be drain on the battery and cost but having WIFI alone could have boosted sales.
