Hmmm, so you hate pretty much every new SE phone, even though the P5i hasn't been launched yet. And you love dreamed up concept phones that will never be made or at least not for man years yet.
So what was the point of this thread again then?
And if you prefer the brick sorry the K850 over the new C902 well you got strange taste. Prefer style over substance get the iPhone.
If you've owned a P1i and have longed for a simpler smart phone with touch screen then you will see the point of the G series, also Nokia make a massive range of smart phones so why can't SE then? Weather you can see the point in tat or not SE are obviously gunning for some more market share hence the G series, I personally cannot wait for the G900. |

Finally a decent post.
No I dont hate the new SE Phones, I am just disappointed ( as I wrote )
Shure they are dreamed up phones and as I said, it was crazy of me to even think they would be similar to the concept phones.
I dont like the Iphone and yes I do really think K850i is a beutefull design.
I owned w960i for awhile, sold it again,
Why you may ask, well that was maybe a bit stupid of me.!
Maybe because I read W980i was coming soon and therefor expected even more beutefull design and a smartphone.
The point of this thread, good question ! maybe I hoped some support in pushing SE into some "dreamier" models.
Crazy, yes ! but I hoped as the many of the guys who does the concept phones.
Yes I am looking forward for P51.

It is a bit of a shame though that the G900 has WiFi but no GPS built in while the G700 has GPS but no WiFi!
Would be good if one phone had both, + a flash for the camera.
The G700 is ugly and the G900 looks quite nice but is quite boring and looks a lot like the K750i. |

I agree with the original poster's sentiments. The only phone I like from SE this so far is the C902. The X1 is just a slimmer TYTN II with SE's 'revolutionary 9 multimedia panels' and WM is definitely boring.
OT: I like the Samsung 'Soul' and G810 alot!!! |

Most of these phones looks good,
W980 looks also amzzing..
But every one has different taste..
Example I would stay away K850, coz I don't fallen for it

You could atleast try and make this thread a little less useless by explaining why you hate them. You just said W980 is a disappointment but you didnt explain why. So tell me why?

Agreed. Me, for example, loves K850 very much.
And of 7 new SE phones announced on Feb 10th, I like XPERIA X1 and all C series most, average feeling for G series and really really don't like W980 and Z770. In fact, I never fall for any clamshell but W980 is the worst clamshell I ever seen.  Anyway, the specs is amazing.

No the G700 does not have built in GPS. Check the specs on SE's website. I agree about the W980, it looks stunning just like a concept, it's strange it's not a smart phone as every top Walkman phone has been so far UNLESS the P5i sports a Walkman variant? |

Actually, no it doesn't! I thought it did, for some reason, but it's only a GPS accessory you can get for it, and other SE phones. D'oh!

Touch Screen enabler
5 to 7 megapixels enabler for the camera 3.2mpix and below

To begin with, if this thread was so useless maybe you should ignore it,
but since you dont, then maybe you should read the thread.
I said it once, I will say it again. I dont hate the new SE phones - I am disappointed - mainly in the design.
But I will give you my answer.
As I wrote ; w980i has a beutefull design.
So what did I expect ?
Well I expected w980i to be a smartphone and it isnt. so even though I love the design I expected it to be a smartphone, but it didnt turn out that way, ergo a big disappointment for me.
