media manager seemed nice but it was too slow??
sdhc cards now have speed ratings(read/write), so they probably make some difference.
i have an 8gb sd in my camera. i gotta get me a 8gb m2 or microsd.
by default m2 seems quicker/better but high quality and high speed sdhc (sandisk-probably a bit more expensive) are faster i presume. |

I use (or at least try to) an 8GB sdhc loaded with 6Gig of music and it's soooo sloooow to get to a track, pretty much unusable. Once there, it plays fine. Not sure how it performs with a M2 at that size (fine with a 1GB). Just waiting for the lastest rumored FW ungrade to see if this problem is sorted and thus, if I keep the phone.
Just updated to the lastest FW (R1EA031) and they have fixed the speed of the Media player. Doesn't seem to be a massive amount of other changes, but for me, this has made a big difference. |

I've got an 8Gb SanDisk MicroSDHC it works fine with the phone, but is not recognized by Windows Media Player. Only the phone memory shows up. When I pop in my 2Gb MicroSDHC WMP does see that. Is anyone else having better luck? I'm on the R1EA031 firmware and I've tried both MTP and Phone Mode |

Im having the same problem - I've called to my local SE support and they sayd this is what happens if you put in something that the device doesnt officialy support - they do support 4gb but not 8gb (yet) - anyway --- whats the best workaround or smthng like that. |
