I'm basing my choice to leave SE because the horrible press the latest round of phones have gotten. My W810 is solid, but the camera broke.

my friends K790a has problems (severe) with the joystick
my friends S500i has cracked keys after 2 days of use
my friends W850i cracked ALL his key's in the first week, he's sent it back to ATT over 5 times, same result every time.

AND NOW, the horrid feedback from the K850i? Man, I'm done with hoping my new SE doesn't fall apart out of the box...

The Nokia I'm looking is the opposite in terms of of bad feedback to SE... 1 / 10 is bad, instead of 1 / 10 being good.

I may be back.. but not until SE corrects their problems.

So has the latest firmware fixed the dark photo problem? What other bugs are still present now?

Can anyone else comment on how the K850 is after firmware 37?

What bugs are remaining?

Well my K850 never takes any dark pictures if I keep my fingers away from the lightsensor on the front (dont put your fingers on the camera side near the flash while taking pictures, read the leaflet that was in your phone package).

remember, its NOT all k850 who have major bugg-issues...many k850 (mostly unbranded) runs pretty good. i think you can buy one, and be quite safe......

Exactly. I had bad experience with my first K850 (returned) and got mine second K850 on vacation in Greece just about 160£ =216 Euro - unbranded!
It has the same 07W42 FW37 but steady closure mechanism and flawless sensor's response, almost no lags loading media content etc.
A bit disappointed in photos quality in general.May be I'm not good in photography but my photos aren't that good as th most users posted here:(

Collectivley though these problems make the K850 look bad. Ive heard many people complaining about dust getting under the screen. I had that with the K800 and will never go to any phone that is open to that problem again.

Ok, same question as the first post, but a nearly a month on... How are people's K850s going? I don't wanna hear about all your problems, just wanna know if its considered to be a good purchase.

Also, who has bought one within the last few days/weeks? How is the phone in terms of build quality and software bugs?

Cheers.

Oli.

@Muhummad-Oli

Dont u know that k850 Firmware/bugs thread is reaching 3000 mark.Which shows how much of people have are having problems with k850i.And the most awaited firmware which is said to be released in jan is not yet released..I doubt Se will even think of fixing it unlike p990i.Stay clear of k850i
K700- W800- [W810]- W200-[ P990]=[Current].

True, true But there are also many that don't have problems at all. 'm wondering maybe the very latest versions have less problems. And the bug fix must be coming, SE may be ignorant, but they are not that ignorant. Anyone?
