Ahh... great, that's my test that I uploaded after the result screen locked up and would not allow me to scroll down. I ran the test about 6 times and at no point could I see the result below.
Could you post a link to where you found that result so I can easily find future results?
Is the Download speed of that test 50kbps? I had a 3G+ symbol showing on the phone and was expecting to see approx 1.5Mbps.
Thanks for the quick response.
No problem

I would like clarification on this please, as it was my only reason for using the App and uploading the result.
BTW I like the App alot. You obviously put alot of work into it.

You would never see 3G downloading speeds at there max, factors like network load & distance from towers affect the speed. Plus 3G only offers speeds up to 384kbps. HSDPA offers speeds of 1.8mbps at max. If you want to get closer to 1.5mb expectation you would be better off with HSDPA then 3G.

That's what he meant by 3G+. He has a Vodafone branded phone and in the Vodafone firmware it has a 3G+ symbol to signify HSDPA.

That's right. VodafoneNZ HSDPA is 3.6Mbps and is getting upgraded to 7.2 soon.
The first time I saw the 3G+ symbol above, I got this result.
I was hoping this App would do the same thing without the need for a laptop but I'm not getting any info about the result.

I've tried the App 9 times and still the results page won't scroll down.
I've asked you about the download speed but you won't comment on it except to say the App works.
What more can I do?

make sure your phone supports speeds that high because just like how GPRS had classes supporting different speeds, it may be the same case for 3g phones. nice dl speed btw!

No SE phone currently supports 7.2Mbps as far as I'm aware but as you rightly pointed out, you don't get full speed anyway. I'm expecting 2.4Mbps+ at home and about 3.0Mbps at Uni when Voda rolls out it's upgrade. My V640i can cope easily with those speeds.
