It was nanu's i dont think he has.

Another thing now the battery cover has come off now and i've lost it when i was out tonight

yeah he says it didn't.

another thing now, the dedicated music keys aren't fully functional. The Play/Pause key acts as the rewind key

And the Battery cover has disappeared off the face of the earth

Everything was working fine before sending!

All I did was reset the phone to erase personal data, and it seems this may have caused the problem!

if you have a data cable (one for a psp/digi cam/ps3 controller charger will do fine), try running the nokia software updater from nokias website

last time i saw a phone doing something silly like this it was water damaged?

It's definitely not water damaged, the phone was working absolutely fine, I reset it boxed it and sent it!

It appears it is the reset that has caused the problem!

Does anyone know how to reflash an N95? (if possible) as Nokia will just keep saying it has the latest software!

AFAIK he's tried that!!

I too would have though it would have reloaded the corresponding software! unless all networks have been updated now!
