I researched this phone for 5 months...a friend of mine played with a proto(before Armani got hold of it), and THAT had WLAN......

...by the time of Armani's announcement, they'd removed it. You tell me why(I don't get it either)!

Was a vast disappointment to me, but you'll have to get the reason from Samsung themselves......

as long as the micro sd slot on the phone supports Micro SD I/O (slight variation on the standard micro sd slot) then it would work fine.

For this particular wifi card to work the Armani would have to support SDIO Now! (not just SDIO), or have a specific driver available for the Armani

Unfortunately I don't find evidence of SDIO Now! compatibility, or a driver being available

SDIO is only supported by pc's/Windows smartphones(unfortunately)

Nice thought though! You'll just have to be like me, and keep your fingers crossed that P720 Duos retains WLAN......

No, they didn't, they lost a few people on here and thats about it.

It's a compact fashion phone with an average camera (no AF!), it's not a smartphone, it just happens to have a touchscreen. Software wise it's no more advanced than an E900.
