I love my P1i and as you all say its fairly easy to use your thumb most of the time, but the thing that bugs me the most is the back soft key, I wish it was a little larger [ I know that some themes have a larger back key than others but even the laegest one is too small to 'reliably' thumb click all the time ( I have little nail so its thumb press for me )]. It would be perfect if the back soft key was the size of the P990's. How do others get on?

If are right handed, you are holding your phone with the left hand?
If so, why don't you just use the left thumb on the back button of the phone?

I am also a right handed and use my left better to control the phone. My upper part of the stylus got loose twice in 2 days and everytime I glued it back on the stylus...not such a good job from SE after just 3-4 months of use.

I am left handed and this phone is obviously designed for right handed, i have to use my stylus very often because i donīt let my nails grow.

After a few days you get used to it and the right-left problem really does not affect that much.

iīve read before that you can scratch your screen if you donīt use the stylus or your fingertip, so, i wonīt try anything else

I'm lef-handed too, and the only thing that annoys me is the fact that the scroll bar is on the right of the screen, which means when I use the stylus my hand hides the screen. Maybe in the future, we could see the option of puttin the bar on the left...

Ive been playing with the phone quite a bit today and I'm starting to think that the top right corner where the back soft-button is, is less responsive to my thumbclick, meaning the screen doesnt register the click as well as the rest. I have to press harder and more accurately on the button in that corner when using a thumb. Ho-hum theres always something faulty with whatever I buy these days.

Same here mate. NOTHING I buy is perfect. Take today for instance, a pair of shoes was delivered, cost me Ģ75. Big scuff on the leather on one shoe and the other has faulty stitching. Nobody in the shop checked them so I have to go to the bother of posting them back and hoping they still have another pair (January sales) by the time they arrive back. My phones ALWAYS need returning at least once until I get one I'm half-happy with and everything causes me grief one way or another. Sign of the times. I'm sure this didn't use to happen 10-15 years ago.

Hey that's a very good upgrade if it happens for us the left-handed.
