No, you can't applying patch with xs++, you must use jdflasher or setool2lite v 1.11 if u want the user friendly interface

if the patch is for r8ba24 then you must use it in a k800 r8ba24.

@gozilla: what do you mean? the patch is applied on the MAIN. so you dont have to get another firmware.

i think i know what it is.
you need to have an unpatched MAIN(as a backup) and a MAIN to be patched. yes, you need to have a copy in case you mess up yours.
what tutorial are you following?
