Gadget show said theres one out tho
Yeah, I have a tendancy to take EVERYTHING they say with a pinch of salt. I know their the only real gadget program on UK TV, but doesn't make them right. Quite often I'm left shouting at the screen "you bloody idiot! It doesn't make it a better video camera because it shoots better stills, you buy a digital camera for that you prick!", etc
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for. |

i really like the ipod touch but the 16gb max memory is a bit pants,i would get one in a heartbeat if they were more like the ipod classics with 80 or 160gb versions, shame really.

It's the touch screen that makes them so expensive. Put a bigger capacity in there and well...it would cost way too much. 16gb would just about be enough for me....but I'm not sure for how long.

What you can get is some kind of network storage like me, which is directly connected to the net, so you have your music anywhere the ipod gets wifi connection. I think of the 16gb as a favorites buffer. When i was away from home last week, i just downloaded the songs i wanted to the ipod through wifi. |

Thats a good idea, how long did it take you though?

Well, it all depends on your upload speed at home, mine is 150kB/s, and all my songs are in ALAC, each 30mb, so it took around 3 minutes per song, not that long. |

Internally at home it takes much less, a couple of seconds per song. |

I popped into Apple yesterday and had a look at the iTouch and iPhone,
what a strange device both are the same gotta love the screens there so responsive
I would love one of those iTouch's but there way to much,
and iPod Classic's do have alot more Memory to go 80GB blimmey
