Ah, I thought it was around 12mm, even better. I guess we'll be seeing a string of skinny Walkmans from now on then. The K660i uses shortcuts keys on the keypad when in the horizontal position just like the K850i which is a good idea too.

The W380 is an odd design but not as odd as the W300i IMO.

Brilliant. Good looking SE phones coming up. Arne Anka's video made me like all three of the phones...Can't wait for them to be released, all in Q1 2008 I hope.

Actually no the funniest thing is that you seriously think that just having a Walkman badge and coming from SE means it will be best as that really is funny because the facts just don't support your case at all, do they?

You are being ignorant, now.
That thing that looked like some kind of player you showed cannot, I repeat, cannot be compared to the Walkman player.
And as I've explained in another thread, the DSP chip doesn't make much of difference to sound quality, as long as the processor can handle simple audio file decoding.

Look who's turned into a Nokia fan. : )

Me ignorant now that is funny, as it is you that claims a DSP chip makes no difference, so why do companies pay extra to put this feature in a device then obviously because a Digital Sound Processor does what it says and does indeed produce better sound to claim otherwise is just ridiculous and unsupportable.

Again how can the interface be more important than sound produced? and yet again quite simply it can't you don't watch Music you listen to it so what counts above all else it how it sounds not looks and to suggest otherwise again just makes no sense.

Yes you are right since June 2006 i have become a bit of Nokia fan but that's due to the fact their devices have constantly delivered beyond my expectations and that's pretty rich pointing out i happen to like Nokia. Whilst you are happy to defend and justify anything SE do beyond logic and reason but just with blind faith and love for a brand that makes you believe they are always the best.

Just look around the Forum and you will see just how many former SE fans no longer share your opinions and are openly dissatisfied with what SE are delivering in their handsets and just how many more are no longer buying SE at least for now .

Most of us on this Forum depending on our age all used to buy Ericsson and then SE quite simply because they WERE the best and most innovative. But sadly this is no longer true and that is why more and more of us no longer blindly buy SE and until the current situation changes for the better and are unlikely to buy an SE device. That is the reality and cost to SE in losing many of it's once loyal supporters those of us that won't just blindly buy anything SE put out just because it is from SE.

There I read SE has most satisfied customer..

We know Nokia sells much much more phones than SE. But they may not have most satisfied Customer..

@Dogmann:
As I said, DSP chips may improve the sound a bit, but not drastically. It's more of a show-off feature like the Carl-Zeiss branding.
And of course the media player counts. I mean UI is one of the most important things in a phone. And SE has a pretty damn good one. And it'll be improved as the new version of the media center will be released with K660.

You are so naive.

Me naive as you are still at school as you say in some of your post's you will eventually realise with age and experience comes knowledge. i do believe as i have been involved in Mobiles and Mobile Data for over 22 years and that is longer than you have been alive never mind using mobiles you still have a lot to learn and i have forgotten more about devices than you know.

Hopefully when you grow up you will realise just how foolish so many of the things you claim are. But currently you may want to consider a career as a comedian because you really are very funny.

No, I'm not. That's just another way of saying that I'm irritating you.
That kind of makes me happy.

@dogman

wow... then you shoud be one of the creators of the GSM mobile networks....!!

i also been involved in mobile technology for nearly 9 years now and i'm 23...
what is considered here just involves the mobile technology for the 3 years ago till now !!!... we are not talking about coding carrier signals and compensating air canal phase shifting and range and energy calculations.... which was the concern in the years of 89-90..

so i don't think, people with less than a year experience in mobile world should not talk about mobiles!!!

@NightBlade

Well sorry but that just shows your naivety as it simply means exactly what it says.

@chombos1

Actually i was involved in the pre launch of Cellular Radio which actually means i was mostly probably already working in the Industry before you were born.

Mobile data has been around for nearly as long as you have and only in the last Year onwards is it able to actually deliver a true Internet experience to the mobile user.

But in those early days not only did Ericsson build the best Networks but they built the best handsets both quality and innovation wise shame you were in nappies and missed it.

Lastly i never said anyone didn't have the right to talk about mobiles so don't suggest i have said things i haven't, but when an under 18 year old calls me naive i really can't take them seriously. Especially if you see some of the truly ludicrous things he tries to claim all because he loves SE. So please get real I'm 47 i may be many things but naive certainly isn't one of them.

What has that got to do with me being naive (if I am naive actually) It just shows that sometimes I can be a tiny bit sadistic.
