K850i - Internet using your computer by Bluetooth |

Hello guys.
I know how to do it.
First of all you need to configure your PAN Bluetooth at your computer.
Secondly Meny-Settings-Connectivity-Streaming settings-Connect using-Local connections (you must connect your phone to computer (BT PAN) before it, or you won't be able to see local connection with your comp. name). Menu-Settings-Connectivity-Bluetooth-My devices choose your computer-connect. - That is the whole thing about K850i. The main problem for me was to configure my WIDCOMM BT software and Kaspersky Internet security 7.0

Hello2all,
I am wondering about the procedure to successfully connect my W810i phone to my PC internet and share same network for easily and free using internet on my phone.
I tried the steps for K phone but I failed to duplicate them on my phone.

Hi,
I just got a new K850i and was trying to implement the steps, but i am failing to pair my mobile with the laptop. and also when i try to connect to the laptop from my devices it says bluetooth connection failed.
Can some one help me. |

You can try using bluesoleil software for your bluetooth dongle on your pc... This is a bit tricky work and needs experience and time to research...
Actually, I had very hard time finding it out on my P1, but it's working now.

thanks for the reply, is this above mentioned sw used only for a bluetooth dongle or with a laptop having bluetooth?
i have been racking my brains and searching all over the net for the past 12 hours and have tried a lot many thing but to no avail
few things tht i find missing is the bluetooth icon on my sys tray and no bluetooth devices in my control panel
and i am unable to create a incoming com port too
any help is appreciated

Perhaps you can download and try enabling serials networking between your phone and PC using the Sony Ericsson SDK... I don't know if the latest version supports your phone model, but it should. You can find it on www.sonyericsson.com. In fact that will enable you usage of bluetooth internet on phone when running some java app (opera mini for example). You can't browse with the internal web browser though.

Hello all I have a T650 and a bluetooth dongle on my gateway laptop. I cant pick up internet for my laptop at work and would like to connect the two for a a bigger screen. How should I go about this? Not sure if the procedure is different then the previous posts. |

hi
with gr8 difficulty and after reinstalling my bluetooth software i have been able to pair up my laptop with my fone.
i have done all the settings as mentioned and am able to connect as well and in my network connections i c a bluetooth lan
but the problem is tht it is only sending packets and not receving any hence my net connection is failing
i have also turned off the windows firewall
any advice. |
