It's a mistake in the picture. I have one. There is no antenna.

Just spoke with Service Point Teleworld in Amsterdam: P800 expected in January, no price info.
SE NL Customer Care Centre: expected in February, no price info, delay due to last software adjustments for Dutch market (whatever it means...).

I guess we'll have the set in mass for Queen's Day.

I ordered my current phone (an r520m) from Norway some two years ago (it's been never on sale in the Netherlands!!!) It was quite difficult to find a retailer/e-tailer who'd ship outside their country, as I remember, I couldn't find anyone in Sweden at the time, thus Norway.

Although my transaction went fine, I'd rather wait this time around for the Dutch version, even if it means a few weeks/months delay.

Aways best for UK customers to have the phones "tested" for a couple of weeks by the "guinea-pig" countries....

Why is that? Was it about the software, or something else?

It was just an enourmous hassle: faxing orders, credit card authorizations, waiting for hand-packed parcel to arrive by post. Software-wise it was OK, no Dutch language on it, but I'm used to the English language menu anyway.
SE/E failed to provide adequate support for this phone here in the NL and excused themselves by simply pointing out that it was never sold over here officially in the first instance. E.g. I had to run a few circles with Vodafone NL before I had GPRS up and running, and I still can't figure out how to have a remote calendar sync work properly.

Nevertheless it was good to feel special about a phone noone had (and for that matter still noone has) in the country.

Although I'm still positive I'll get (my company to get) my hands on a P800 in the course of 2003, I've learned my lesson with SE Support and will give them some time to figure out themselves what they brought to the market. It would also save me/my company a few hundred hard-earned Euros.
